In reference to the late August - early September period
One detail that stands out in late aug. and sept. storms is their occurrence around the autumnal equinox. This year there seems to be a quick transition in the length of shadows by mid. September. Could the speed at wich the earth tilts be a key factor.				The number of earthquakes during this time seems higher than other time of the year.
